NITIN DAGADU AIWALEversusSTATE OF MAHARASHTRA

Disposal

Holding

The Court disposed of Bail Application No.4625 of 2024 as no further relief survived.

Summary

The applicant, Nitin Dagadu Aiwale, filed a bail application (No.4625 of 2024) in connection with Crime No.73 of 2023 registered at Karveer Police Station, Kolhapur. An earlier order on 10 April 2026 stayed the application because a fresh bail application (No.216 of 2026) had been filed, and the legal‑aid counsel appointed for the applicant was discharged. The fresh bail application (No.216 of 2026) was subsequently disposed of. Both parties jointly submitted that, with the disposal of the fresh application, there was no remaining relief to be granted in the original bail application. The Court accepted this submission and ordered the disposal of Bail Application No.4625 of 2024. Consequently, the applicant’s request for bail was dismissed.
