Bombay High Court

ARUN LAXMAN YADAVversusSTATE OF MAHARASHTRA

Decided
Disposal

Holding

The court held that the interim bail is converted to absolute bail.

Summary

Arun Laxman Yadav had been granted interim bail on 13 August 2026 in a criminal case. The parties subsequently settled the dispute amicably, with the applicant paying the full agreed amount to Respondent No.2 and expressing intent to seek quash of the FIR. Respondent No.2, through counsel, indicated no objection to the quash and set‑aside of the FIR. Considering the settlement and lack of opposition, the court converted the interim bail into absolute bail on the same conditions. The bail application was therefore disposed.
