Bail is granted to the applicant subject to specified conditions.

Summary

The High Court of Bombay considered a bail application filed by Kisan Nagnath Pawar under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, in connection with a police case (CR No. 839 of 2023) alleging offences under IPC sections 302, 307, 323, 324 and 34. The applicant sought release from custody pending trial for alleged murder, attempt to murder, and related offences. After hearing counsel for both sides, the Court examined whether the seriousness of the charges warranted denial of bail. Finding no compelling reason to refuse bail, the Court granted bail subject to a set of conditions, including a cash bond, regular reporting to the investigating officer, and restrictions on travel and witness tampering. The bail order was entered and the application was disposed of.
