Holding

The court allowed the correction of the RCC number in the bail order.

Summary

The applicant, Aniket Aba Shinde, filed a criminal bail application and attached a charge‑sheet that incorrectly cited RCC No.352 of 2026. The applicant’s counsel, Shardul Diwan, later informed the court that the correct registration number is RCC No.371 of 2026, corresponding to Crime No.146 of 2026. The respondent State’s counsel, S. H. Yadav, did not oppose the correction. The court, after noting the applicant’s request and the lack of objection, ordered that RCC No.352 be substituted with RCC No.371 in paragraphs 3 and 14(a) of the order dated 18 August 2026. The court further directed that the corrected order be uploaded on the website and that the praecipe for speaking to the minutes be disposed of.
