Bombay High Court

ANIKET CHINTAMANI KALEversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND ANR.

Disposal
Disposed off as Withdrawn

Holding

The Court allowed the withdrawal of the bail application and directed that a fresh application be considered after the charge‑sheet is filed.

Summary

Aniket Chintamani Kale applied for bail in connection with FIR No.200 of 2026 registered at Borgaon Police Station, Satara. The investigation was still ongoing and no charge‑sheet had been filed. Counsel for the applicant sought leave to withdraw the bail application so that a fresh application could be filed after the investigation concluded and the charge‑sheet was filed. The State’s counsel did not oppose the withdrawal. The Court granted the request, allowing the applicant to file a new bail application before the trial court once the charge‑sheet is filed, and ordered the present bail application to be treated as withdrawn. Consequently, Bail Application No. 838 of 2026 was disposed of as withdrawn.
