Holding
The court granted a four‑week extension to remove office objections and restored the writ petition to its original position.
Summary
The petitioner, Vijay Savleram Salve, had his writ petition dismissed for default after failing to remove office objections within the two‑week period ordered by the court. He filed a civil application seeking a further extension of time to comply with the objection removal requirement. The High Court, exercising its discretion, granted an indulgent extension of four weeks, conditioned upon the petitioner removing the objections, and restored the writ petition to its original position. The civil application was thereafter disposed of. The order reflects the court's willingness to permit procedural compliance where the petitioner shows cause for delay.
