The Court permitted the petitioner to withdraw the deposited amount along with interest.

Summary

In a civil application filed by Bansi Rama Sarode, the petitioner sought permission to withdraw Rs.4,11,740 that the State of Maharashtra had deposited in the High Court pursuant to earlier orders dated 07.04.2026 and 31.07.2026. The petitioner relied on an e‑statement of an award dated 22.02.2022, seeking the principal amount plus interest to be credited to his bank account. The Court examined the prayer and the supporting award and found no legal impediment to allowing the withdrawal. Consequently, the Court allowed the application, directing that the amount with interest be released to the petitioner. The judges also ordered that any necessary corrections be made within two weeks.
