BABANRAO DASHRATH DHAWALE AND ANR.versusBHAGIRATHI SREE SHIKSHAN SANTHA A'BAD AND ORS

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The contempt petition was disposed of as the respondents had complied with the order under contempt.

Summary

The petitioners, Babanrao Dashrath Dhawale and another, filed a contempt petition alleging non‑compliance with directions issued in an earlier order. The respondents filed an affidavit‑in‑reply stating that they had complied with all five directions, including approval of services by the Education Officer, preparation of the seniority list, regular payment of salaries, and that their services were not terminated. The court examined the affidavit and noted that the petition had not been circulated since 2013. Finding that the respondents had indeed complied with the contempt order, the court held that there was no longer any ground for contempt. Consequently, the contempt petition was disposed of.
