- Disposal
- DISPOSED OFF
Holding
The contempt petition was disposed as infructuous, with no relief remaining.
Summary
The High Court of Bombay, Aurangabad Bench, entertained Contempt Petition No. 201 of 2011 filed by Sant Bhanudas B.Ed College seeking permission to start a new B.Ed college for the 2010-11 academic year, based on NCTE recognition. The court had earlier directed that such permission be granted. Respondent No.3 later filed an affidavit stating that the contempt order was challenged before the Supreme Court. The court presumed that the challenge rendered the subject matter of the petition infructuous. Consequently, the court held that nothing remained to be adjudicated in the contempt petition and ordered its disposal.
