Bombay High Court

YOGESH MURLIDHAR CHAUDHARI AND OTHERSversusGANESH BHASKAR CHAUDHARI

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The petition is disposed as the grievance is deemed redressed owing to substantial compliance with the contempt order and the passage of time.

Summary

The petitioners, Yogesh Murlidhar Chaudhari and others, filed a petition against Ganesh Bhaskar Chaudhari and other respondents. The petition sought relief on the ground that a contempt order against the respondents had not been fully complied with. The Court observed that substantial compliance with the contempt order had already been achieved as per the order dated 17/01/2022. It further noted that, given the passage of time, it could be safely presumed that the petitioners' grievance had been redressed. Consequently, the Court held that there was no longer any ground for the petition and disposed of it. The judgment was delivered by Judges Sandipkumar C. More and Vaishali Patil-Jadhav on 24 September 2026.

          PER COURT :

Though learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has been
elevated as a Judge of this Court, but in view of the order dated
17/01/2022, it is clear that substantial compliance of the order
under contempt has already been made. Further, in view of the
passage of time, it may safely be presumed that the grievance of the
petitioners must have been redressed. In view of the above, the
          petition stands disposed of.
