Bombay High Court
NARAYAN BAPURAO SURANG AND ORSversusTHE STATE OF MAH AND ORS
- Disposal
- DISPOSED OFF
Holding
The contempt petition was disposed as there was no pending contempt after the respondent decided the representation.
Summary
The petitioners, Narayan and others, filed a contempt petition (No. 376 of 2010) against the State of Maharashtra and other respondents. The Court had earlier directed respondent No.4, the Executive Engineer, to decide the petitioners' representation. Respondent No.4 filed an affidavit stating that the representation was decided and rejected by an order dated 02.08.2010. The Court observed that, with the representation having been finally decided, there was no longer any ground for the contempt petition. Consequently, the Court disposed of the contempt petition, granting no relief to the petitioners.
