MALLIKARJUN VISHWANATH KARBHARIversusPUNDLIK RANGNATH DESHMUKH AND ANR

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The petition is disposed as there is nothing left to contend since the contempt order has been complied with.

Summary

The petitioner filed a contempt petition alleging non-compliance with an earlier order. The respondent filed an affidavit-in-reply stating that it had complied by deciding the representation under Section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act and by making the required payment to the petitioner. The court examined the affidavit and found that the compliance was satisfactory. No further issue remained for adjudication. Consequently, the court held that there was nothing left to contend in the petition. The petition was therefore disposed of.
