Summary

Sangita Bhagwanrao Chavan filed Contempt Petition No. 563 of 2026 in the High Court of Bombay. The petition was found to contain certain procedural defects, including the lack of a demand for compliance of the Court's order. Counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Nagsen V. Gawai, sought leave to withdraw the petition and to re‑file it after correcting the defects. The Court examined the application and, noting the defects, allowed the withdrawal. The petition was consequently disposed of as withdrawn, with liberty granted to the petitioner to file a fresh petition after rectifying the deficiencies.
