ARUN VISHNUPANT BHAGYAWANTversusPARWATIBAI UTTAM WAKADE AND OTHERS

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The court dismissed the contempt petitions against the respondents whose claims were withdrawn by the petitioner.

Summary

The petitioner, Arun Vishnupand Bhagyanwant, instructed the court to withdraw his contempt proceedings against certain respondents in multiple contempt petitions (CP No. 251, 580, and 59 of 2022). The court accepted the petitioner's statements and ordered the dismissal of the petitions against the specified respondents. In CP No. 251, the petition was dismissed against respondents 8 and 10‑15. In CP No. 580, it was dismissed against respondents 1 and 2. For CP No. 59, the petitioner agreed to delete the names of respondents 3 and 4 by 4 August 2026, otherwise the petition would be dismissed, and the matter was listed for 5 August 2026. The court’s orders were purely procedural, effecting the withdrawal and dismissal of the contempt claims.
