Since the order under contempt was complied with, the contempt petition stands disposed.
Summary
The petitioners, Appasaheb Ramrao Sherkar and others, filed a contempt petition alleging non‑compliance with a court order directing that a writ road be widened to a total width of 12 metres (10 metres plus one metre on each side). The court examined photographs submitted by the respondent’s A.G.P., which showed that the required widening had been carried out, a fact also affirmed by the petitioners’ counsel. The petitioners’ counsel, Mr. Kedar Pathade, was present, while the petitioner’s representative Mr. P.P. More was absent. The court concluded that the contempt order had been satisfied. Consequently, there was no remaining ground for the contempt petition, and it was dismissed. The judges, Justice Sandipkumar C. More and Justice Vaishali Patil‑Jadhav, ordered the petition to be disposed of.
