VAIJNATH NANDKISHOR BARTAKKEversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND OTHERS

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The contempt petition is dismissed because the proposals in question have already been decided, leaving no matter for contempt.

Summary

The petitioner, Vaijnath Nandkishor Bartakke, filed a contempt petition (No. 71 of 2021) alleging that Respondent No.3 had not decided his proposals as ordered. The court noted that the respondent, through the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted an affidavit-in-reply showing that the proposals had already been decided on 15 March 2021, and the decision was annexed to the record. Since the matter raised in the contempt petition was already resolved, the court found no remaining issue to entertain. Consequently, the petition was dismissed as there was nothing left to pursue. The case was therefore disposed of.
