The Court extended the time for compliance by two weeks and ordered that no further extension will be granted.

Summary

The State of Maharashtra filed an interim application seeking an extension of time to comply with a court order dated 29 July 2026 in Writ Petition No. 17375 of 2024 filed by Shri Swami Samarth Bahuddeshi Sanstha. The State had previously obtained a four‑week extension, arguing that it was challenging the order before the Apex Court and later decided to seek a review. The High Court, acting as a last chance, granted a further two‑week extension but expressly barred any further extensions. The court emphasized the need for timely compliance and the futility of repeated extensions. The interim application was consequently disposed with the stipulated extension.
