The Court held that the delay in filing the first appeal is condoned and the interim applications are allowed subject to the conditions imposed.

Summary

The appellant, the State of Maharashtra, filed a first appeal (St.) No.16695 of 2019 along with several interim and civil applications. The Court considered Interim Applications No.12429 and No.12430 of 2025, granting relief in the prayer clauses as sought. The civil applications (Nos.3569 and 3570 of 2019) were also allowed, with the Court condoning the delay in filing the first appeal and directing the appellant to file a paper book within a year. An ad‑interim relief was ordered in the second civil application, subject to the appellant depositing the decretal amount with interest within eight weeks. The cross objection (St.) No.14783 of 2023 was admitted, and the interim application was disposed of. Overall, the Court provided procedural reliefs while imposing compliance conditions on the appellant.
