SUJEET ASHOK BARGEversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA THR. ADDL CHIEF SECRETARY REVENUE DEPT. AND ORS.

The amendment of the petition to include the entire reasoned order is permitted and re‑verification is dispensed with.

Summary

The petitioner, Sujeet Ashok Barge, filed a writ petition annexing only the operative order and later sought to amend it to include the entire reasoned order. Respondent No.3 argued that an interim order in favour of the petitioner caused it prejudice. The Court considered the amendment request and allowed it, directing that the amendment be effected forthwith as per Schedule‑I and dispensing with any requirement of re‑verification. The interim application was therefore allowed. Subsequently, the Court ordered that the writ petition be stood over to 14 October 2026 for circulation.
