Condition No.(iii) is deleted, permitting the petitioner to enter the territorial jurisdiction of Pune city till the trial concludes.

Summary

The petitioner, Balaji Murlidhar Pakale, filed an interim application seeking modification of the bail order dated 06.08.2024, specifically requesting deletion of condition No.(iii) which barred him from entering the territorial jurisdiction of Pune city during the trial. The respondent, State of Maharashtra, opposed the modification. The learned Single Judge, Justice Milind N. Jadhav, considered the arguments and the reasons set out in paragraphs 3 and 4 of the interim application. Finding merit in the petitioner's submission, the Court deleted condition No.(iii) and allowed the petitioner to enter Pune city until the trial concludes.
