The court permitted the applicants to enter Taluka Purandar on 7th‑9th February 2026 and ordered them to leave by 6 pm on 9th February.
Summary
The applicants, who were subject to a bail condition prohibiting entry into Taluka Purandar, filed several interim applications seeking relaxation of that restriction to enable them to cast votes in the Zilla Parishad election scheduled for 7 February 2026. The State opposed the relaxation, arguing that the condition should remain in force. The court considered the arguments of both sides and the specific request for a three‑day relaxation. It held that the applicants could be allowed to enter Taluka Purandar on 7th, 8th, and 9th February 2026, provided they vacate the area by 6:00 pm on the 9th. The order was framed as an interim relief and the applications were disposed of accordingly.
