The court may correct a typographical error in its own order upon a proper application.

Summary

The applicant, Sunideol Suresh Kale, filed an interim application seeking correction of a typographical error in paragraph 11(d) of the order dated 09‑09‑2026, where the police station was incorrectly named as “Akluj North Police Station” instead of “Akkalkot North Police Station”. The respondent’s counsel confirmed the mistake. The court examined the application and, noting the clear error, ordered that the name be substituted with the correct one and that the corrected order be uploaded. No substantive legal issues beyond the correction of the clerical mistake were raised. The order was thereby amended to reflect the accurate police station name.
