The Court allowed the original complainant to intervene and granted leave to amend the bail application accordingly.

Summary

The original complainant in Criminal Revision No. 447 of 2025 sought to intervene in Bail Application No. 426 of 2026. The complainant’s counsel, Mr. Shankar Katkar, filed an interim application (No. 522 of 2026) requesting permission to be added as an intervenor. The State’s counsel, Mr. N. B. Patil, raised no objection to the intervention. The Court, noting the lack of opposition, allowed the interim application and granted leave to amend the bail application to include the original complainant as an intervenor. Consequently, the amendment was ordered to be effected immediately and the interim application was disposed of.
