The Court allowed the Intervenor to intervene in the anticipatory bail application.
Summary
The Intervenor, Prithviraj Tanaji Sawant, filed an interim application seeking to be allowed to intervene in Criminal Anticipatory Bail Application No. 526 of 2026, claiming to possess material evidence related to Crime No. 331 of 2026. The Intervenor requested permission to oppose the grant of anticipatory bail. The counsel for the original bail applicant, Mr. Saurabh Tandale, expressed no objection to the Intervenor's participation, and the State’s counsel, Ms. S. N. Deshmukh, supported the presence of the Intervenor. Considering the lack of objection and the State’s submission, the Court permitted the Intervenor to intervene and ordered the bail applicant to amend the bail application to reflect this change. The interim application was consequently allowed and disposed of.
