The appeal was permitted to be withdrawn and was disposed of, with the interim applications also disposed.

Summary

The appellant, Ankit Arun Sharma, filed a Family Court Appeal (ST) No.20005 of 2026 against Pratiksha Ankit Sharma, seeking to withdraw the appeal limited to Direction No.3 of a 30 January 2020 Family Court judgment that ordered the return of streedhan articles listed in article ‘A’. The appellant's counsel asserted that compliance with the direction had been ensured. The court noted that the question of actual compliance is to be determined in the pending execution proceedings. Consequently, the court permitted the withdrawal of the appeal. It also disposed of the pending interim applications for delay and stay. The matter was thus concluded without a substantive hearing on compliance.
