- Decided
- Disposal
- Disposed Off
Holding
The Court allowed the interim application, recalled the earlier order, and restored the writ petition subject to removal of objections within two weeks.
Summary
The petitioner, Aditi Automobiles, filed an interim application seeking two weeks to rectify objections and discrepancies flagged by the Registry in Writ Petition No. 4865 of 2026. The petitioner argued that unavoidable circumstances prevented timely compliance and assured removal of all defects within the requested period. The respondents, including the Union of India and others, raised no objection to the petitioner's request. The Court examined whether procedural time could be granted to address registry objections. It held that the interim relief was appropriate, recalling the order dated 6 August 2026 and restoring the writ petition to its original file, subject to the petitioner correcting the defects within two weeks. The order was pronounced by the Chief Justice and Justice Advait M. Sethna.
