The order dismissing the writ petition for non‑removal of office objections is set aside, subject to the petitioner removing the objections within three weeks.

Summary

The petitioner, Asmaa Shamshir Ahmad, filed a writ petition (ST) No.23388 of 2025 which was dismissed on 9 September 2025 for failure to remove office objections. The petitioner filed an interim application seeking relief, asserting that the objections would be removed within three weeks. The Court, after hearing counsel, set aside the dismissal order and restored the writ petition to the file, imposing a condition that the petitioner must remove the office objections within three weeks. The Court directed that if the objections are removed within the stipulated period, the petition will be listed for admission on 7 December 2026. Conversely, if the objections are not removed, the restoration order will be recalled and the petition dismissed without further reference. The interim application was thereafter disposed.
