The petition is to be transferred to the Family Court at Jalgaon.
Summary
The applicant, a mother of nine‑year‑old twins, filed a transfer application seeking to move Marriage Petition No. 1777 of 2026 from the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Pimpri Chinchwad to the Family Court at Jalgaon. The court noted that the children’s custody is with the mother and that the 450 km distance would cause inconvenience and hardship for her and the minors in attending proceedings at Pimpri Chinchwad. Considering these factors, the court allowed the transfer and directed that the petition be heard by the Family Court in Jalgaon. The order also permitted the husband to appear via video‑conferencing if he so applies. The Principal Judge, Family Court, Jalgaon, was instructed to assign the transferred case and a related petition to the same court. The decision was based on procedural convenience and the welfare of the children.
