Summary

The petitioners, Glorio Rosario Furtado (decedent) and others, filed a writ petition before the High Court of Bombay at Goa. They sought permission to amend the petition to bring on record the legal heirs of the deceased respondent, the Cathedral Chapter of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman. The Court, after hearing counsel Mr. Parikshit Sawant, granted permission to amend the petition within one week and directed that notice be issued to the newly added respondents. It also ordered that spare copies be provided to the Registry and that the petitioners may serve notice by any lawful private method and file an affidavit of service. The matter was disposed of as allowed.
