The Court may correct typographical errors in its orders and directed the corrected order be uploaded and the application amended within three days.

Summary

The applicants filed a praecipe seeking correction of a typographical error in Paragraph 2 of the order dated 3 September 2026, where the appellants were incorrectly described. The Court examined whether it could amend its own order to rectify the mistake. It held that the Court has the authority to correct such errors to reflect the true intent of the order. Accordingly, the Court directed that the corrected order be uploaded on the website and that the parties amend the Miscellaneous Civil Application No.516 of 2026 within three days. The order thus stands corrected, ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
