DISPOSED OFF

Holding

Since the underlying matter (H.M.P. No.177 of 2024) was disposed on 4 October 2025, the pending miscellaneous civil application became infructuous and was accordingly dismissed.

Summary

Rutuja Sanjay Shelar (applicant) filed a miscellaneous civil application against Ravindra Prakash Salunke (respondent). The applicant’s counsel argued that the Court of Judicial Sessions Division, Newasa had already disposed of H.M.P. No.177 of 2024 on 4 October 2025, rendering the present application moot. The bench verified the status report on the court’s website confirming the disposal of the underlying matter. Relying on this, the court held that the application had become infructuous. Consequently, the miscellaneous civil application was disposed of as infructuous.
