The revision application is dismissed for non‑prosecution.

Summary

Pradnya Nitin Landge filed Criminal Revision Application No.184 of 2020 in the Bombay High Court challenging an order dated 30 December 2019 passed by the Sessions Judge, Greater Mumbai, in C.C. No.55/DV/2017 before the Metropolitan Magistrate, 72nd Court, Vikhroli. The applicant failed to appear before the High Court when called and did not take any steps to advance or circulate the matter after filing the revision in 2020. The record showed that the applicant and his counsel were inactive throughout the proceedings. The Court observed that the applicant was evidently not interested in pursuing the revision. Consequently, the Court dismissed the revision application on the ground of non‑prosecution. The order was pronounced by Justice Ashish S. Chavan on 17 August 2026.

                                              DATE : 17th AUGUST 2026
                  P.C. :

                  1. By way of this Revision Application, the applicant has

challenged the order dated 30 th December 2019, passed by the learned

Sessions Judge, Greater Mumbai, arising from the proceeding viz. C.C.

No.55/DV/2017 pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate,

                  72nd Court, Vikhroli, Mumbai.

                  2. None appears for the Revision Applicant, when called.

Record indicates that, although the Revision Application was filed in

the year 2020, neither the applicant nor his counsel has taken any

steps to circulate the matter or to seek any relief from this Court.

  N. S. Chitnis 1/2
                                                                       17-revn.184.2020.doc

In these circumstances, it is evident that the applicant is not interested

                in pursuing the Revision Application.

Hence, the Revision Application stands dismissed for non-

                prosecution.
