SATISH BHUJANGRAO GAIKWADversusSUJATA W/O. SATISH GAIKWAD AND ANOTHER

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The revision is disposed of and the Family Court judgment is quashed due to the parties' compromise.

Summary

Satish Bhujangrao Gaikwad filed a criminal revision application against Sujata Gaikwad and another, challenging a Family Court judgment dated 23 September 2021. The parties later reached a compromise, submitted the compromise deed to the High Court, and requested disposal of the revision. The Court, noting the settlement, disposed of the criminal revision application. Consequently, the impugned Family Court judgment in proceeding E‑175/2019 was quashed and set aside. The decision rests solely on the parties' agreement and the Court’s power to dismiss a revision when a settlement resolves the dispute.
