The revision application is dismissed for want of prosecution.

Summary

Jagannatharao filed a criminal revision (No. 515 of 2022) challenging an order dated 17 August 2021 of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate which had rejected his application under Section 156(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code. The revision was filed in 2022, well beyond the statutory limitation period, and the applicant made no application for condonation of delay. No steps were taken to prosecute the revision, and the applicant did not appear before the court. The High Court observed that the applicant showed no interest in pursuing the matter and dismissed the revision for want of prosecution. Consequently, the order of the magistrate stands affirmed.
