Holding
The criminal revision application is deemed infructuous and is disposed of because the underlying matters have been settled amicably.
Summary
The applicant, Vikas Vijay Salve, filed a criminal revision (Criminal Revision Application No. 62 of 2022) challenging the order dated 21 July 2026 in Criminal Application No.1244/2026, which related to offences under Sections 354‑A and 323 of the Indian Penal Code. The court noted that the underlying criminal matters – the summary criminal case decided on 22 November 2018 by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Himayatnagar and the appeal decided on 16 February 2022 by the Sessions Judge, Bhokar – had been settled amicably between the parties. Because of this settlement, the revision application could no longer be entertained. The bench held that the revision became infructuous and therefore ordered its disposal. Consequently, the revision application was dismissed as infructuous.
