The petition is dismissed as the issue has already been decided in the coordinate bench's order in Writ Petition No. 6549 of 2026.
Summary
Ramchandra Gopichandra Mestry filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, seeking relief against the State of Maharashtra and others. The petition raised an issue that the court found to be identical to that decided in Writ Petition No. 6549 of 2026 (Dr. Maya Raghunath Kagne v. State of Maharashtra). The court observed that the coordinate bench had already examined the matter in detail and dismissed the similar petitions. Relying on that precedent, the court dismissed the present petition. However, the interim protection previously granted was ordered to continue for a further six weeks from the date of the order.
