Summary

Petitioner Tajmunnisa Begum Shaikh Masood filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, challenging actions of the State of Maharashtra and other respondents. The petition sought relief, but the Court did not directly entertain the substantive claim. Instead, the Court directed the petitioner to approach the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted under the Government Resolution dated 27 March 2024. The Court emphasized that the grievance must be considered in accordance with the relevant government policy, rules and regulations. The liberty to approach the Committee was to be exercised within two weeks from the date of the order. The petition was consequently disposed after granting this procedural liberty.
