Holding
The Court held that the writ petition should be treated as a representation and the petitioner must approach the Grievance Committee for consideration of his grievance.
Summary
Mayur Madhav Kanse filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, challenging an approval order issued by the State of Maharashtra. The petitioner sought correction of the approval order and relief from the State. The Court, referencing its earlier decisions in Writ Petition Nos. 7357 of 2023 and 1457 of 2026, treated the petition as a representation rather than a direct writ remedy. It directed the petitioner to approach the Grievance Committee constituted under the Government Resolution dated 27.03.2024 for consideration of his case. The Court also ordered that the pending correction application be decided on its merits within eight weeks of receipt of the order. Consequently, the petition was disposed with liberty granted to the petitioner to seek relief through the Grievance Committee.
