The issue raised in this petition is squarely covered by the
decision of this Court in W.P. No. 3287 of 2025 dated 4th May, 2026. For
the reasons stated in the said decision, we pass the following order :-
ORDER
[i] The writ petition is allowed;
[ii] The respondents are directed to pay the petitioner
simple interest @ 8 % p.a. on the amount of Rs. 94,77,000/- from
31.7.2011 till the date of actual realization of the amount. The interest
shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of three months from the
date of receipt of copy of this order.
[iii] Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
