Summary

Balasaheb Laxman Balid and another filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, challenging the failure of Respondent No.4 to decide a representation dated 11 November 2025, which had been recommended by the Block Development Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Kopargaon. The petitioners sought a directive for the respondent to consider the representation on its merits. The Court allowed the petitioners to amend the suit by adding the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Ahilyanagar as an additional respondent. It held that the pending representation must be decided by Respondent No.4 within twelve weeks of receipt of the order. The Court further directed that the decision be communicated to the petitioners. Consequently, the writ petition was disposed of with the specified direction.
