Summary

Their counsel later requested permission to withdraw the petition, while also asking that the petitioner be allowed to submit a fresh proposal for staffing approval. Upon receipt of the fresh proposal, the respondent (Deputy Director) was ordered to decide the matter on its merits within four weeks. Accordingly, the writ petition was disposed of with the stipulated timeline for the fresh submission and decision.
