Holding
The petition is dismissed and the petitioners are directed to file their grievance with the Grievance Redressal Committee within two weeks.
Summary
The petitioners, Sapna Rushindra Raut and others, filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court challenging actions of the State of Maharashtra. The Court examined whether the grievance raised by the petitioners falls within the jurisdiction of the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted under the Government Resolution dated 27 March 2024. Relying on that resolution and earlier judgments in Writ Petition Nos. 5330 of 2015, 5316 of 2025, 10205 of 2024 and 19146 of 2024, the Court held that the matter should be dealt with by the Committee. The Court directed the petitioners to raise their grievance before the Committee within two weeks of the order. It further directed the Committee to consider the grievance on its merits, taking into account relevant government policies, resolutions, circulars and judicial pronouncements. Accordingly, the writ petition was disposed of.
