The court directed the respondent to consider the proposal dated 4 May 2024 for granting a Shalarth ID within four weeks.

Summary

The petitioner, Dipak Prahlad Ghogare, was appointed as a teacher in a Pune school in December 2018 and received approval for his appointment in August 2019. The school management later sought a Shalarth ID for the petitioner to enable salary payment, but the initial proposal was rejected due to discrepancies. A corrected proposal was submitted on 4 May 2024, and the petitioner filed a writ petition seeking a direction to the Deputy Director of Education to consider this proposal and commence his regular salary. The High Court directed the respondent to consider the May 2024 proposal within four weeks of the order. The court kept all contentions open but disposed of the writ petition, ordering no costs.
