Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The petitioners must approach the Grievance Redressal Committee, and the writ petition is disposed.

Summary

The petitioners, Nitesh Kumar Prakash Kendre and another, filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, challenging an action of the State of Maharashtra. The court examined whether the petitioners' grievance could be addressed directly by the court or through the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted under a Government Resolution dated 27 March 2024. The learned Additional Government Pleader argued that the Committee was the appropriate forum for redress. The Court held that the grievance could indeed be resolved by the Committee and directed the petitioners to approach it within two weeks. Consequently, the writ petition was disposed of without further adjudication.
