The High Court directed that the temporary injunction application be heard on 13 October 2026 and the parties cooperate, and disposed of the writ petition.

Summary

The petitioner sought a direction for the expeditious hearing of an application for a temporary injunction in Special Civil Suit No. 262/2026, after the trial court had granted an ex parte interim injunction on 2 July 2026. The petitioner argued that the hearing of the injunction application should not be delayed. The court noted that an ex parte relief had already been granted and therefore the application should be heard promptly. It ordered that the application be listed for hearing on 13 October 2026 and directed both parties to cooperate and avoid unnecessary adjournments. The writ petition was thereafter disposed.
