Holding
The petition is disposed with liberty granted to the petitioner to approach the Grievance Redressal Committee within two weeks.
Summary
The petitioner, Avinash Thaka Shete, filed a writ petition challenging an order of the State of Maharashtra. The Court observed that the petitioner has an alternative remedy under the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted by a Government Resolution dated 27 March 2024. Accordingly, the Court disposed of the writ petition by granting the petitioner liberty to approach that Committee. The Court directed that the petition be filed with the Committee within two weeks, after which the Committee must decide the representation expeditiously. No substantive merits of the original order were addressed, as the matter was remitted to the administrative forum.
