Bombay High Court

MUKESH SHANKAR BHOREversusSTATE OF MAHARASHTRA THROUGH SECRETARY AND OTHERS

Disposal
DISPOSED OFF

Holding

The Court allowed the withdrawal of the writ petitions and stayed the finalization of the tenders until the petitioners' objections are decided.

Summary

A group of ten writ petitions filed by various individuals against the State of Maharashtra and others sought relief concerning objections to a tender process. The petitioners requested permission to withdraw the petitions to pursue the remedy available under Clause 55 of the tender document. The High Court granted the withdrawal, disposing of the petitions as withdrawn. The Court also ordered that the tenders not be finalized until the petitioners' objections are decided, directing that the objections be resolved within fifteen days of filing. This order stays the tender finalization pending the resolution of the objections.
