Summary

The petitioners filed a writ petition in the Bombay High Court, Circuit Bench at Kolhapur, seeking relief against the respondents. The proceedings were transferred from the Principal Seat in Mumbai to the Kolhapur bench. On the scheduled hearing dates, neither the petitioners nor the respondents appeared before the court. The Special Officer reported that a related civil suit (No. 212/2000) was still pending. Because of the parties' failure to appear, the court dismissed the writ petition for default.
