Holding

The petitioner's grievance must be considered by the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted under the Government Resolution dated 27.03.2024.

Summary

The petitioner, Sadanand Sakharam Hattiambire, filed a writ petition before the Bombay High Court challenging the actions of the State of Maharashtra. The petition sought relief directly from the court regarding his grievance. The Court examined whether the petitioner could approach the High Court directly or must first approach the Grievance Redressal Committee established under a Government Resolution dated 27.03.2024. It held that the grievance falls within the jurisdiction of that Committee and therefore should be addressed there. Consequently, the Court disposed of the writ petition, granting the petitioner liberty to approach the Committee for an expeditious consideration of his grievance.
