Holding

The Court held that the petitioner's grievances should be pursued before the Grievance Redressal Committee and disposed of the writ petition.

Summary

Suresh Chandrasen Ganesh filed a writ petition seeking a rule, service record, correction of his pay scale, grant of special pay, and costs, alleging that the State of Maharashtra had not updated his service book. The Court noted that the grievance could be addressed by the Grievance Redressal Committee under a Government Resolution dated 27 March 2024 and a prior order in Writ Petition No. 1182 of 2024. Accordingly, the Court granted the petitioner liberty to approach the Committee within eight weeks and directed the Committee to decide the matter within eight weeks of submission. No substantive relief was granted by the Court. The petition was consequently disposed.
